BattleScape is a reality simulator that "provides an integrated battlespace visualization environment for the warfighter." It is designed to ready the "warfighter" in question to step out from the world of 3D simulation to the practice of bombing and killing real targets.

S&IS Mission Systems "provides the subject matter expertise, technical excellence, and operational experience required to lead Boeing's effort to support the horizontal integration of the Intelligence Community (IC)."

Tellingly, this program is organized not by customer, but by exclusive "capability to provide the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), CIA, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and National Security Agency (NSA) an enterprise level approach to global situational awareness, content management, and knowledge capture."

According to the website, the system features expertise in:

"The knowledge created enables our country's leaders to better shape policy and build a safer, more stable world," is a statement on the Boeing website; whether or not it is completely accurate is up for debate.
