Dinner and Discussion with Mike Prokosch

The Peace Economy Project is happy to be bringing Mike Prokosch of the New Priorities Network to St. Louis Thursday November 10

New Priorities is a national network of groups that seek to fund urgently needed jobs and restore vital public services by ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and substantially cutting the core Pentagon budget. Mike Prokosch will be speaking about how military spending is a big part of the reason why our city, state, and federal budgets are in crisis. The Military Economy is not working for us! He will speak on the importance of cutting military spending as part of a four-point program: Create Jobs, Save Services, Tax extremely wealthy people and corporations, and End the wars/Cut the Pentagon! That morning, listen to Mike on WGNU 920 AM St. Louis Urban Forum with Bernie Hays at 7AM!
